A patient desiring DIEP flap and nipple preservation. Despite anatomic limitations, free nipple grafting and a breast lift with DIEP flaps was performed. Incisions are identical to a breast lift procedure.

The patient had bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies. She had two-stage implant reconstruction. She is shown 3 years after her original surgery with good symmetry and contour.
The patient elected for bilateral mastectomies with reconstruction. Given the patient’s desire to preserve her nipples, we performed DIEP flaps on both sides, a small breast lift, and nipple grafts. The nipple were removed and placed on to the flaps as grafts. The patient is shown 1.5 years after her original surgery.
The patient had bilateral nipple sparing mastectomies. She had bilateral DIEP flaps for reconstructive surgery. She is shown 3 years from her original surgery with an excellent breast and abdomen contour.
